| A
shadow of myself sits in a corner
A clock ticks as time bends
Empty eyes stare through the wall
Senses ignite as the world dies
A silent voice whispers,
"You won't know and you won't find
Reality."
My
hand shakes as I watch it bend
I wait for change that will never come
Fur consumes my bare arms and legs
Insides churn as my heart flutters
An invisible force commands,
"You won't know and you won't find
Reality."
Pain
consumes me from inside
My mind screams as my tail grows
I fall and shout for no one to hear
My paw can't grab but reaches for help
A choir in the darkness sings,
"You won't know and you won't find
Reality."
Memories
of loved ones melt away
Responsibilities disappear into the night
Society can no longer make me suffer
I obey the command of my transformation
My master calls to me,
"You won't know and you won't find
Reality."
A
furless body lies motionless on the floor
An eerie glow illuminates the void of a room
A small fan hums as the computer breathes
The winds of change stagnate in the stale air
A dry tear reminds me,
"I won't know and I won't find
Reality."
